BAMESSING vs BAMALI IN FINALS OF HON. NJINGUM MUSA’s STUDENTS COMPETITION IN NDOP CENTRAL SUB DIVISION

Bamessing students and Bamali students obtained their qualifications after beating Bambalang students and Bamunka Students respectively during the semi finals, Friday August 28th, 2015. The Nsei Boys defeated the Mbaw-Yakum Boys 3-2 after a heated semi-final match during which the Mbaw-Yakum boys were daydreaming. Peuchop got it easy over the Meukoh boys 2-1 and are expected to lift the trophy.

The competition is organized in all three sub divisions that make up Ngoketunjia Division. According to the cup donor, Hon. Njingum Musa, the competition is intended to bring students together to interact with one another, think together and act together for the development of Ngoketunjia Division. The competition have also permitted the member of Parliament for Ngoketunjia North Constituency and “Questor” at the National Assembly to preach Peace, Love and Unity as necessary prerequisite for meaningful development in Ngoketunjia Division. The cry of all the students within this period has been, “Why can this competition not be a regular thing” for not only have they been able to meet their peers from other villages, its been a learning experience and enriching experience all along.
